1. Hyperbole - exaggerated statements 

  • im so hungry i could eat a horse 

  • its raining cats and dogs


2. Antithesis - a contrast or opposition between two things

  • wealth - poverty

  • love - hate


3. Litotes -  understatement expressed in a negative or contradictory way

  • its not my first rodeo

  • its not rocket science

today we started a new film called Nosedive it from Black Mirror. we each got a set of questions we had to complete. my thoughts while watching this was i dont think i could live like this, i think when being given a rating on your every communication or action you can never truly be yourself until you break because you've been trying to be someone your not. but this took us to the end of class ohh and mr. rease brought us chips today as our snack and 10/10 great choice of snacks
